Daycare

Doggy daycare has many wonderful benefits, for both you and your dog!

  • Socializes your dog and encourages their natural "pack mentality"
  • Relief from boredom

  • Relief from separation-anxiety or loneliness
  • Builds confidence through play and interaction with dogs and staff members
  • Allows high-energy dogs to burn off some of this energy in a controlled, positive setting
  • Relief from guilt pet parents may feel leaving pup alone

When joining Bark University, Inc., dogs will go through a highly supervised orientation session where they are introduced to social and submissive dogs. This allows us to determine their play style and how they interact with others. Upon completion of this evaluation, they are put into play groups that best suit them and their needs. Our two-hour evaulation is free of cost.

Playtime is supervised at all times by our trained faculty members. Water is available throughout the day and groups that play well with toys can enjoy recreational activities, such as fetch and tug-of-war.

Bark U Training Tip #25:

Learn dog body language. This is incredibly important in being able to tell that your dog is not comfortable with the situation he or she is in. You don't want the negative implications that come with your dog feeling uncomfortable meeting a new dog or person. Forcing the issue can lead to a negative reaction in the moment and longer term issues down the line.
